Limpopo Conference Accommodation

Motswari offers luxury conference accommodation in 15 elegant bungalows. Each bungalow features an en-suite bathroom and boasts beautiful views over the African bush. Motswari can accommodate a maximum of 30 delegates.

The elegant bungalows are fitted with mosquito nets, air-conditioning and overhead fans. The interiors are elegantly decorated in neutral colours and art reflecting the surrounding African bush. Facilities at the main building include a curio shop, 2 bars, swimming pool, art gallery and well stocked library.

Limpopo Conference Venue Location

Motswari Game Lodge is located in the heart of the Africa bush in the Motswari Private Game Reserve in the Timbavati Game Reserve, South Africa. The Timbavati Private Game Reserve shares an unfenced border with the Kruger National Park.

Directions to Motswari Conference Venue

From Johannesburg

From Johannesburg follow the N12 which leads past Benoni, Witbank and Middleburg. Follow the signs and turnoff for Belfast. Take the R540 road through Dullstroom, Lydenburg and Ohrigstad. Proceed on the R36 over the Abel Erasmus Pass to Hoedspruit. You will enter Hodespruit on the R527.

In Hoedspruit proceed through the 4-way stop and go over the small bridge. At the intersection turn right onto the R40. Continue for 7km (4.3 miles) and then turn left at the Motswari sign onto the Timbavati Road, and you will be in the Timbavati Game Reserve, South Africa.

After 18km the road changes to gravel. Continue on the gravel road for another 36 km (22.3 miles). You will be required to stop at the entrance to the Timbavati Game Reserve in South Africa where you will pay a per person entrance fee and a vehicle fee.

Now you are in the Greater Kruger National Park. Drive carefully and expect to spot African wildlife. Stay in your vehicle 300 metres after passing Ingwelala on your right (large thatched entrance) look out for the Motswari sign on your right. Follow the Motswari signs for the remaining 3km (1.8 miles).

Limpopo Conference Leisure Activities

Delegates on conference in South Africa at Motswari conference venue can look forward to excellent game viewing opportunities. Game drives are offered twice a day allowing you the opportunity to spot African wildlife. You could see Lion, Giraffe, Hyena, Cheetah and Rhino. The reserve is also home to over 350 different bird species.

The more adventurous can enjoy a guided game walk through the African bush. Your experienced guide is on hand to share his or her incredible knowledge of the bush. Learn more about the indigenous flora and see some of the smaller creatures.

Return to Motswari conference venue for a mouthwatering meal. During the warm afternoon, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool. Sip on a cool drink at one of the bars or view some of the local art showcased in the art gallery.
